The character follows the instructions for a Mountain yoga pose. In her efforts to feel anchored, she finds herself contorting, flattening, anything, but a mountain.

A collaborative spatial sound project with Martha Ilacqua. Consist of field recordings of river forced underground, experimenting with 360 video of search journey
Initial exploration of sound as tool to encounter a different umwelt than ours. To attempt to follow a river’s path by listening. There are many existing listening guides for this river. Therefore our further development would be to creatively archive the relational shift that takes place for the participants of this creative listening.

‘I’m forever blowing bubbles’ is a 1918 Tin Pan Alley song turned football club anthem turned Johannesburg school sport warcry. On top of this history, its melody is explored as the tone for the grey space between pessimism and futurism.

Soundscape for a collaborative project with Gyuri Kim and Yejin Seo
This ongoing collaborative project explores the umwelt of synthetic intelligence. To reflect this, the sound design consists of manipulation of free sounds into a narrative, then taking the invert phase information between 2 sound files. This is an initial exploration of the logic of sound perception, compression of sound, and sound as object.
